WIWW - Chilling out

Hi,

I really wanted to wear something comfortable and chill yesterday, with my sore legs and feet. Nothing fussy and definitely no heels!

Old jeans, a comfy cardigan, and sneakers it was!

Please, take a look at this project a friend of mine is working on. If you like hiking and other outdoors sports, you know where she is coming from. The video is hilarious! Check it out!

Also, I am linking up with The Pleated Poppy for another WIWW. There are so many cool blogs there, go see what is new!

Love,

Sam

WIWW - Voting

Hi,

I hope that you voted!

I ended up waiting in line for about an hour and half, but it wasn't that bad. It was a little cooler here in Texas finally. Well, cool enough to wear jeans and a light cardigan, but that was about it.

The business development is going at a slow pace. Everything seems to take longer than I imagined, so my weekly goals are slowly falling behind schedule. But I should have some exciting news about the business in the upcoming weeks. So stay tuned.

As usual, today is Wednesday, so I am linking up with WIWW on The Pleated Poppy. Go check out some cool blogs!

Love,

Sam

Layering for Fall - and becoming a chiffony

Hi!

I finally finished a top I started a while ago, a beautiful georgette print that I got from The Common Thread.

I have a love-hate relationship with these fabrics. While I love the look of a sheer top, sewing and caring for them is not easy. If you follow Project Runway, you know that there was a clique forming who would only use chiffon and silk on everything. Am I becoming one of them? Oh no!

They do make for great layering pieces, which are a must here in Austin, as the weather starts to cool down.

Want to get a similar look? Try here.

What I am wearing:
Cardigan - J.Crew
Top - made by me
Jeans - Banana Republic
Shoes - Madewell

Love,

Sam
