How to - Peplum

Hi!

It seems like the peplum is not going to leave us any time soon and will be big for Fall as well, as seen at Style.com and WWD.

I have done a post before, using polyvore, but I really wanted to see how it would look on my actual body and I am happy!

I actually sewed this top myself, using a pattern from the latest Burda Magazine, in a cotton herringbone that I acquired at the Fabricker. It is great because it is washable and breathable - a must in Austin heat.

I think the peplum just added a touch a of feminine class to the white denim and it was so forgiving on the mid-section.

Top: made by me
Pants: Banana Republic
Necklace: Kendra Scott
Sunnies: Chloe
Shoes and Clutch: Arezzo (Brazil)

How would you wear the peplum?

Love,

Sam
